who we are

We are an award-winning design consultancy firm specializing in architecture design, interior design, lighting design and product design. FerryGunawanDesigns was recently awarded LIT Design Awards 2023 in the Exterior Architectural Illumination for Kapal Api Office Building project. He spent eight years in New York working for Walker Group/CNI and SBLM Architects, from where he has amassed experience in retail and residential projects. He received a Master of Arts from Hochschule Wismar specializing in Architectural Lighting Design in 2009. During his studies, he also interned and worked for Kardorff Ingeniure Lichtplanung GmbH in Berlin working on Eleftheria Square designed by Zaha Hadid. Currently a Doctoral Candidate at Universitas Indonesia, he is a fully practicing architect and lighting designer for various projects.
